Front Garden Design in Chipping Sodbury

In response to the brief, the design removed unsafe, uneven steps making the garden and home easily accessible. My clients also wanted a front terrace with real “wow” factor for entertaining.

A gently sloped, meandering pathway now guides you through the garden, with a peaceful resting spot and bench halfway along. The path leads to a spacious front terrace, beautifully paved in natural limestone with detailed edging. The resin pathway is framed with limestone pavers, while soft sandstone walls add muted, calming tones.

The existing conifers have had their crowns lifted to reduce their dominance and create space for new planting beneath, adding texture, colour, and seasonal interest.

Discreet lighting now guides you along the path, uplights the trees, and highlights a striking Fighting Hares sculpture — bringing the garden to life after dark.

“The finished job is genuinely outstanding and people stop in the street to look up into our drive and front garden. We would recommend her unreservedly.”

“Angela was recommended to us and we were thrilled with the outcome. She spent a lot of time understanding our requirements and wishes as her clients before coming up with stunning designs. Her finished drawings allowed the tradesmen to complete the task with minimal queries but she was always on hand to guide where necessary. She made recommendations for hard scaping materials and introduced us to trusted suppliers.”
