Sunny suburban garden in Oldland Common

My clients were frustrated with their sloped garden and a very ugly raised manhole cover!

There was nowhere level to sit, entertain, or grow the plants and veg they wanted. By setting the garden design at a 45‑degree angle to the house, we created a generous level patio and deeper planting borders. Stone setts within the paving highlight the angle and add subtle detail.

A small seating towards the back of the garden catches the last of the evening sun (perfect for a cheeky G&T), while generous steps and a clear pathway invite you to explore. With four different seating areas, the garden now offers space to relax, socialise, and enjoy the outdoors from morning to evening.

“Our garden has been transformed!
We really love the garden design created by Angela. Her designs are truly 5*.”

“Following the initial consultation, Angela produced designs that took into consideration our requirements, likes, dislikes and budget. Her approach is both professional and enthusiastic and she is clearly very knowledgeable of the materials and plants required to create interesting and individual gardens.

Angela’s vision for our garden far exceeded anything we could have come up with ourselves. The drawings and layouts provided were extremely detailed and the landscaper who did the work for us was very complimentary of Angela’s detailed designs.

We have had lots of compliments from our friends and family who have seen the transformation and we would not hesitate to recommend Angela’s work.”
